We thought this was a good time to do posts about our homes. You get to see glimpses of things that we like, things that are important to us and things that make us happy. I think my home tells a lot about who I am. It reveals parts of me, parts of my mind and soul. So welcome & hope you enjoy the visit.
(Tuon mustan helmillä koristellun "korun" sain Anulta viime vuonna syntymäpäivälahjaksi.)
As you probably already know I´m a real sucker for all kinds of jewellery. I just can´t get enough! I´ve bought most of them from secondhand shops and several are gifts from friends & family. (Anu gave me the black beaded "necklace" as a birthday present last year.)
I keep my brooches on this beautiful dress that used to belong to a dear reletive of mine. It reminds me of respect to things that are old, times that have past, people that have lived and been loved. (The purse in this picture is a treasure I found from a secondhand shop years ago.)
Here you can see my not-so-secret stash of various materials for making jewellery. At first it was just one little box. Now there´re dozens or even more...
One corner of my little apartment is reserved to one of my ultimate passions: designing. My purple lady stands there infront of the rack and waits for me to dress it with new clothes and jewellery.
And here´s a piece of art from my balcony. As you probably already guessed, I got it from a dumpster. I just couldn´t resist the inspiring colour and detailing!
